I think everyone with a GD77 should try OpenGD77. It is stable and has very few limitations compared to the stock firmware. And zero risk, you already have your existing codeplug, just install the new OpenGD77 CPS and the firmware, try it out, if for whatever reason you don't like it, just reflash the stock firmware and reflash the codeplug.
